I am constantly researching related information about the Weedsport area and the operations of the LV. I am fortunate to have access to the internet; when I first started to concentrate on the Auburn to Weedsport run back in the late 80's, the available information was very limited by today's standards. It is truly amazing what is available if one is willing to spend the time.

I had the good fortune of coming into contact with Mr. Herb Trice through a lead about the LV pertaining to print material, and subsequently met with him in Auburn. He generously gave me a personal tour from the roundhouse in Auburn to the site of the depot in Weedsport, his running commentary filling my head with anecdotes that I wished I had recorded! Of course, I list his excellent book first on my list of resources.
